Application Requirements:
Master’s and Doctoral degree candidates：
1) Master’s degree candidates: at least hold a bachelor’s degree;
2) Doctoral degree candidates: at least hold a master’s degree;
3) Have a competitive academic record in undergraduate or graduate education;
4) Two letters of recommendation by professors or associate professors from universities candidates graduate;
5) Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 4 (for those who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)
6) Under the age of 35 for Master’s candidates and 40 for doctoral candidates.
Bachelor’s degree candidates：
1) At least hold a high school diploma, and have a competitive academic record in high school or undergraduate education；
2) Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 4 (for those who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)
3) Under the age of 30.
Other Requirements:
1) Non-Chinese citizens;
2) Abide by the laws, regulations and rules of the People’s Republic ofChinaand ZSTU
3) Have a good reputation, respect teachers and fellow students
4) Both physically and mentally healthy
5) NOT win any other scholarships in China
Application Procedure:
1. Apply for the above program of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology through SICAS.
2. Excellent applicants will be recommended to Zhejiang University of Science and Technology as qualified scholarship candidates.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The scholarship quotas are distributed by the relevant department of the university.
2. Your scholarship application documents will be reviewed by SICAS helpful and efficient staff members, and then those outstanding applicants will be recommended to the university.
3. Whether or not you're able to achieve the scholarship will be determined by the relevant department of SICAS and the university on the basis of your academic merits as well as your recommendation letters.
4. You are not eligible for the application of any other scholarships in case you've already been a recipient of this scholarship.
5. SICAS reserves the final right of enforcing and explaining the detailed rules of implementation.
Application Materials:
1) ZSTU International Students Application Form (Applicants have to log on the Online Application System: http://zstu.at0086.com/StuApplication/MyApply.aspx to fill the information online )
2) A photocopy of your passport information page with personal signature
3) A photocopy of your valid Visa or Residence Permit if you are already in China
4) Highest diploma (notarized photocopy).Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
5) Notarized copy of transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
6) Applicants for master or doctoral degree studies and senior scholars must submit two letters of recommendation by professors or associate professors.
7) Foreigner Physical Examination Report (the report is valid for 6 months)
8) Study certificate (includes class attendance ) and transcripts given by the previous university in China(if applicable)
9) Applicants under 18 should submit the legal documents of their legal guardians in China
10) Study certificate with class attendance record and transcripts given by your host university if you are studying at another university in China
11) Valid copy of HSK or English Proficiency Certificates (if applicable)
