Academic Objective

This major is designed to cultivate qualified personnel with advanced technology and engineering knowledge of mechatronics to meet the requirements of modern mechanical and electronic industry. To cultivate international practical technical personnel with the basic principles and knowledge about modern mechanical and electronic technology, and practical skills needed in mechanical designing, mechanical manufacturing and operating of digital control processing.

FurtherStudy

Applicants with bachelor’s degree of this major enjoy an advantage when pursuing further study and applying for a master degree in the leading technological areas such as mechanical and electronic engineering, mechanical design and theory, vehicle engineering, material processing and control engineering, machine design and manufacturing and their automation, etc. One third of the undergraduates can be admitted to master degree programs. Those who have excellent performance during undergraduate study can be excused from examination and directly go on postgraduate study.

Employment in product design, product manufacturing, digital control programming and equipment maintenance in related enterprises.

Related work of business management and technology management in related enterprise.
