The major of Electronic Information Engineering originated from radar design and manufacturing established in 1953. In the course of more than 60 years of development, it has successively adopted the professional names of radar technology, radio positioning, radar design and manufacturing, radar, electronic engineering, radio technology, and information engineering. It has always been the main specialty of the Radio Engineering Department, the Electronic Engineering Department, the School of Information Science and Technology, and the School of Information and Electronics, and it is the earliest radar specialty created in local colleges and universities in China.

1. High school graduate or above who is qualifed to apply for university, non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passport and in goodhealth; observe Chinese laws and regulations of Beijing Institute ofTechnology.

2. Aged between 18 and 25; Applicants under 18 should provide certificate of guardian who has Beiing residency.

3. Applicants must comply with the regulations (Jw [2020)No. 12) issued by Ministry of Education of People's Republic of china.
