Major of International Economics and Trade was established in 1999 and enrolled international students with academic degrees in 2009. It is a school level key specialty and international specialty. It has set up an international trade division under the master and doctoral degree program of agricultural and forestry economic management, and has initially possessed the talent training system of integration of bachelor-master-doctoral degrees in agriculture and forestry. The major has a high level of teaching team including overseas distinguished professor, Zhejiang "151" Talents, the excellent young university teachers of provincial level and teachers with industry background. Relying on Key Think Tanks of Zhejiang Province, and platforms like China editorial department of Forest Policy and Economics, we have formed unique characteristics in the integration of disciplines and specialties, carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education in the whole process, and internationalizing major construction, and cultivate the international economic and trade talents with profound knowledge of agricultural and forestry products. After graduation, students can further study in universities and scientific research institutions at home and abroad, or work in foreign trade management, trade economy and financial services in government departments, foreign trade enterprises and financial institutions.

This program adheres to student cultivation and moral education. Complying with the national standards of teaching quality ofinternational economics and trade undergraduate major, integrating the requirements of new liberal arts and new agricultural sciences reform, the program sets two characteristic modules of international business and digital trade, which is more in line with the new development trend of domestic and international dual circulation and digital trade. In addition, courses such as Agriculture and Forestry International Trade and Environment, International Agricultural Economic Cooperation and Agriculture and Forest Trade Case Study are added to highlight the characteristics of agricultural and forestry education and cultivate students' profound knowledge of agricultural and forestry products trade. By integrating Chinese and foreign teachers, full English and bilingual teaching, facilitating internal and external interaction of students at home and abroad, and students' overseas study visits, students’ international ability can be enhanced. It has established a four-year continuous and phased innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum system with full coverage, and a six-in-one practice system of "curriculum practice, virtual simulation, discipline competition, social practice, specific-job training, entrepreneurship incubation" to organically integrate innovation and entrepreneurship education into the whole process of professional education.

1. Applicants should be aged between 18 and 28

2.Applicant should be non-Chinese citizens with valid regular foreign passport and be friendly to China; 

*Residents of China who have emigrated to a foreign country and who are now applying to study in China as international students must have held a valid foreign passport for at least 4 years, and must have actually resided in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the past 4 years. (9 months of residence in a foreign country may count as a full year. The dates of the entry and exit stamps in the passport will be followed in the determination of the actual length of foreign residence).
