Program Description

Doctoral graduates should have profound basic theory of safety discipline, extensive safety discipline, professional knowledge and innovative senior talents with various abilities. Graduates should have a broad theoretical basis and systematic and in-depth expertise in modern mathematics, disaster control, safety engineering, industrial health and safety management. Can be creative in scientific research related to safety science and technology and design and management of major engineering safety. I have a deep and systematic understanding of the academic frontier, current situation and development trend of this discipline. Have a good command of at least one foreign language, can read the foreign language materials of this major skillfully, has certain writing ability of the thesis and the oral expression ability of international academic exchanges. After graduation, I can be engaged in teaching and research work in institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions, or in high-level technical design, risk assessment and safety management work in industrial and mining enterprises and management departments.
