Training Objectives

This major will cultivate the knowledge of the exploration, planning, design, construction, scientific research and management of water conservancy and hydropower projects, and the senior engineering technicians who can work in planning, design, construction, scientific research and management in water conservancy and hydropower departments.

The students majored in the basic theories and basic knowledge of the construction of water and hydropower projects, such as mathematics, mechanics and building structures, so that the students could get the necessary engineering design methods, construction management methods and basic training of scientific research methods, and have the water conservancy and hydropower engineering survey, planning, design, construction, and construction, The basic ability of scientific research and management.

Main Courses

Engineering mechanics, hydraulics, river dynamics, rock and soil mechanics, engineering geology and hydrogeology, engineering surveying, engineering hydrology, engineering economics, building materials, reinforced concrete structures and steel structures, etc.

1.High school graduate or above, or have passed Grade Twelve (10+2)/FSc./A Level/WAEC or equivalent.

2.With an excellent command over English Language, with essential B or above.

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English
