Brief Introduction

Accounting Program(CPA CANADA ) is evolved from Accounting Program (CGA CANADA) which was co-established by NBU and CGA CANADA in 2008. The program adopts a dual-certificate module of elite training and introduces CPA CANADA training courses into a Chinese accounting program. It is listed in the first group of municipal service-oriented key educational programs.

Chartered Professional Accountants Canada(CPA CANADA ) was unified from CA,CMA and CGA at the end of 2013. CPA CANADA certificate holders are eligible to work for world-renowed accounting firms,multinational corporations,and financial institutes.

Teaching Objectives

The program aims at fostering globalized elite accounting professionals with solid accounting knowledge and skills, who are familiar with international accounting principles,and are qualified to work in accounting,auditing and finance at major accounting firms, trans-national companies,financial institutions and government agencies.

Main Courses

PREP(Prerequisite Education Program) of CPA CANADA program compries 14 courses and is entailed within local accounting curriculum organized and tested by NBU. The program includes 9 core courses where original English CPA CANADA material are adopted.

Fee

RMB 18,000/academic year,plus RMB 3,300/core course

Future Career

In commercial enterprises as accountant and financial affairs executive.

1. High school graduate or above, or have passed Grade Twelve (10+2)/FSc./A Level/WAEC or equivalent.

2. Aged 18 or above and with a good health

With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3. Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4. Academic transcript of high school

5. English proficiency test certificate 
For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.
