The Chinese Government Scholarship Silk Road Program is a full-time, fully funded scholarship program for international students funded by the Chinese government. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance (excluding international travel expenses).  

 1：Non-Chinese citizens and be in good health both mentally and physically;

 2：Be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs;

 3： Be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for PhD programs;

 4：Have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 (or above) when applying for Chinese-taught master’s or doctoral programs;

 5：Have acquired the English proficiency of TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.0 or Duolingo 120.

2. A clearly scanned copy of the personal information page on the valid passport in color
3. A clearly scanned copy of the Bachelor's degree certificates
4. A scanned copy of the academic transcript for the Bachelor degree during the entire study period
5. CV 
6. Study plan and personal statement 
7. Proof of Chinese or English proficiency (HSK; IELTS, TOEFL, Duolinguo, SAT, GRE and other proofs of English proficiency)
8. Physical Examination Certificate issued within the last 6 months 
9. Non-criminal record certificate issued within last 5 months
10. Two ‘Recommendation Letters’ from Professors or Associate Professors
11. Financial Supporter Form and Bank Deposit Statement 
12. Notarized copies of other awards or academic achievements (if any).

14. Self-introduction video in Chinese or English
