1. Non-Chinese citizen in good health; between 18 and 35 years old; holding a high school degree or above.

2. For Chinese-taught programs: HSK 4 (an overall score of 180 or above) or above is required. (Applicants who fail to attain the required level of language proficiency can take a one-year language training course offered by the CIE.)

3. For English-taught programs: one of the following language proficiency requirements must be satisfied.

(1) The native language or the official language of home country is English

(2) IELTS (an overall score of 5.5 or above)

(3) TOEFL (an overall score of 60 or above)
