1. Art theory research: Integrating the methods of Chinese and Western humanities, studying the history of art, art theory, art literature and history of art history at home and abroad, and conducting thematic research on artists, art works, art thoughts and other fields in the history of art at home and abroad.

2. Chinese painting creation and research: Based on traditional Chinese painting theory and creation method, learn from and absorb modern ideas and methods of various art categories, study relevant theories of Chinese painting creation, explore modern forms of painting techniques and material expression, and create excellent modern Chinese painting works.

3. Oil painting creation and research: including oil painting, gouache watercolor, acrylic and composite material painting. To cultivate painting creation and teaching talents needed by modern society, cultivate professional talents with solid painting theories and skills, good sense of inheritance and modern concepts, understand the development trend and latest achievements of painting profession, and can engage in painting creation, art dissemination and research of related disciplines.

4. Calligraphy creation and research: The major of calligraphy emphasizes the inheritance of excellent traditions of calligraphy and the cultivation of innovative creative ability of calligraphy, while focusing on the reference of related disciplines and professions, striving to improve the comprehensive quality of students and cultivate the ability of students to engage in calligraphy research with multidisciplinary knowledge.

5. Sclpture creation and research: Based on Chinese and Western sculpture theories and creation methods, it draws on and absorbs modern comprehensive materials and new media artistic expression means, studies relevant theories of sculpture creation, combines environmental art and public art in sculpture creation, and expands the expression forms of sculpture art.

6. Modern decoration and design research: Cultivate comprehensive artistic talents with decorative art concept, creative practice and theoretical research of decorative art. Decorative art design mainly includes the theory and practice courses of decorative graphics, traditional decorative art, modern decorative art, public art, environmental art, etc., aiming at cultivating students' composite knowledge and skills of academic research and creative practice ability of decorative art.

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and valid foreign passport holders.

2. Under the age of 35 for master’s degree programs (Age limit is flexible for healthy applicants with certain work experience and high academic ability). Applicants must be Bachelor’s degree holders (Those who provide pre-graduation certificate or student status certificate at application MUST provide Bachelor's degree diploma no later than registration).

3. With proper moral conduct, in good health with no infectious disease or any physical or mental diseases that may affect the normal study.

4. Applicants who have given up their original Chinese citizenship (including residents in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) and become foreign citizens shall provide the documents certifying the cancellation of Chinese citizenship and household registration, according to the policy of the Ministry of Education of the PRC.

If the applicant has acquired foreign citizenship automatically at the time of birth in a foreign country, whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one of the parents was a Chinese citizen, parent’s (with Chinese citizenship) permanent resident in foreign country should be obtained prior to the birth of  applicant.

For the regarding authority must make sure that there are at least two pages on the passport for the Chinese Embassy to stick the Visa paper and Immigration to stick the resident permit paper.

4. Photocopy of Physical Examination Record.

Applicants should strictly check the items in accordance with the requirements of Physical Examination Record.pdf Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending doctor, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The date shall be after October 1, 2023. The original piece is required during registration.

5. Self-introduction video

Applicants are required to upload a video of self-introduction within one minute, and those who have HSK certificates must use Chinese to introduce themselves.

6.Original or copy document of the highest diploma (afternotarization).

If the applicant is currently a student, the pre-graduation certificate issued by the school is required. Non-Chinese/English documents must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

7.Original or copy document of the mark sheet

Stamped Transcript from the undergraduate/master program or notarized Chinese/English-translated transcript. Those transcripts shall be issued and sealed by the attending university's academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department.

8.Recommendation letters of 2 professors or associate professors

The signature date shall be after October 1, 2023.

9.Study Plan of no less than 1000 words.
