1. Basic Requirements: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, in good health, and of upright character. They must be at least 18 years old and no more than 30 years old. (If the applicant is under 18 years old and their parents are not permanently residing in China, a formal authorization letter from the parents is required.) Note:

(1) If both or one of the parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled in a foreign country, and the applicant was born with foreign nationality and does not have Chinese nationality, they must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for 4 years (inclusive) or more, and have a record of actual residence in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the last 4 years (as of the April 30th of the admission year), including one year of actual residence in the foreign country with a full 9 months (9 months of actual residence in the foreign country can be counted as one year, based on the entry and exit stamps).2. Academic Requirements: Applicants must graduate from high school before September 2025 and hold a high school diploma.

3. Language Proficiency Requirements:

(1) Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must have a HSK 4 level or above certificate. Applicants for Chinese literature-related programs must have a HSK 5 level or above certificate. If the pre-requisite school is included in the list of Chinese language schools for the current year, the HSK certificate is waived. (2) Applicants for English-taught programs must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or above, a TOEFL score of 75 or above, or a CEFR B2 (European standard) or other English proficiency certificate. Applicants for pre-requisite courses that are taught entirely in English are exempt from the above English proficiency certificates.

Color scanned copy of passport (photo page and visa page), recent photo ID (no hat, frontal vertical format, one-inch ID photo, JPG or JPEG format, no larger than 1M), high school graduation certificate color scan (junior students can provide a pre-graduation certificate first)

Color scan of all high school course transcripts, Chinese/English proficiency test report color scan, financial guarantee proof, bank statement (recent 6-month bank transaction record)

If under 18 years old, a power of attorney letter is required

No criminal record certificate, physical examination report (within 6 months)

For design major application, at least 3 works are required; for dance choreography major application, a video of works must be provided
