1.Non-chinese citizens holding valid foreign passports
2. Under 25 years old, having graduated from high school (those who have not graduated at the time of application must provide a pre-graduation certificate, and must obtain the high school graduation certificate at the latest before enrollment).
3. Good conduct and good physical and mental health (free from infectious diseases and physical or mental disorders that may affect normal study).
4. Nationality Requirements: Comply with the provisions of Document No. 12 of the Ministry of Education (Jiaowai Han [2020] No. 12).
Subject to the entry and exit stamps.
If the applicant acquires foreign nationality at birth abroad and both parents are Chinese citizens at birth, or if one of the parents is a Chinese citizen, the applicant's parents (the Chinese citizen side) must obtain permanent residence rights in the foreign country before the applicant's birth.
Moreover, the applicant must have a record of actual residence abroad for more than two years from April 30, 2021 to April 30, 2025 (actual residence abroad for at least nine months in a year can be counted as one year, as determined by the entry and exit stamps).
Note: If an applicant is recognized by the Chinese public security authorities as having Chinese nationality after application, admission or enrollment, their application qualification, admission qualification, enrollment qualification or expulsion will be cancelled.
5.Language Proficiency Requirements
For programs taught in Chinese, applicants are required to provide a report of their HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) scores.
Applicants whose compulsory courses in the secondary education stage (junior high school and senior high school) were taught in Chinese can be exempted from submitting the HSK score report.
For programs taught in English, there are no requirements for the applicant's Chinese proficiency. If the applicant's native language is not English, they need to provide proof of TOEFL/IELTS scores or other English proficiency test scores.
