2.Age and educational requirements:

. Applicants for a master's degree must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, have excellent academic performance, and generally be no older than 35 years old.

. Applicants for a doctoral degree must hold a master's degree or equivalent, have excellent academic performance, and generally be no older than 40 years old.

① Valid ordinary passport information page, visa page or residence permit page (students in China must be separated from  engraved with she Changyan);

② Highest academic degree certificate/pre-graduation certificate (Those who submit the pre-graduation certificate must provide scanned copies of the original undergraduate degree certificate and transcript before enrollment);

③ Graduation transcript (from the undergraduate stage onwards);

④ Language proficiency certificate (valid for 2 years, valid until September of the start of the semester)

(1) Chinese proficiency requirements for Chinese-taught programs:

For science and engineering majors, a score of 180 in HSK Level 4 is required.

For liberal arts, economics and management, foreign languages, architecture, art, design and sports majors, a score of 180 in HSK Level 5 is required:

Professional English proficiency requirements for English-taught courses :

(2）Toefl IBT 80 or above, IELTS 6.0 or above (for students whose native language is not English), Duolingo English Test 112 or above or equivalent English proficiency certificates;

Toefl EssentialsrmScores and TOEFL MyBestScores, etc. are acceptable.

(3) Language proficiency requirements for bilingual teaching programs:

For science and engineering majors, a score of 180 or above in HSK Level 4 is required. For economics and management majors, a score of 180 or above in HSK Level 5 is required. Toefl IBT80 or above, IELTS 6.0 or above (for students whose native language is not English), Duolingo English Test 112 or above or equivalent English proficiency certificates;

Toefl Essentialsrm Scores and TOEFL MyBestScores, etc. are acceptable

(4) To be exempted from submitting an English proficiency certificate, the following conditions must be met

Students from English-speaking countries

Students whose highest academic qualifications are courses taught in English must submit proof of English teaching.

⑤ Physical Examination Form for Foreigners(filled in Chinese/English, valid for 1 year);

⑥ Study Plan in China (no less than 1,000 words);

⑦ Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors;

@The "Pre-Consent Letter of Acceptance from the Supervisor" signed by the supervisor of South China University of Technology (except for the Master of Materials Science and Engineering taught in English and other programs);

Applicants for a doctoral degree must provide published literature or a master's thesis.
