Architecture is an interdisciplinary major that integrates art aesthetics, engineering technology, social culture and environmental science. It takes "space creation" as its core, studying how to meet human needs for living, working, culture, etc. through design, while balancing functional practicality, aesthetic expression and sustainable development. From the geometric order of the ancient Egyptian pyramids to the shell-shaped shell structure of the modern Sydney Opera House, architecture has always been the crystallization of technology and art - it not only needs to solve engineering problems such as structural load-bearing, ventilation and lighting, but also needs to shape the spatial emotion through proportion, material and light and shadow (such as the cross-shaped light and shadow in Tadao Ando's "Church of Light" creating a religious atmosphere)
