Professional Overview：

The Electronic Information Engineering major originated from the Radar Design and Manufacturing major established in 1953. During its development process, it has undergone multiple adjustments and integrations of its professional name. This major is based on the fundamental theories and skills of electronic information technology, guided by the theories of signal and information processing, takes computer hardware and software systems as the application platform, and aims to apply in fields such as signal and information processing, intelligent hardware, artificial intelligence, and smart perception.

Training Objectives：

Cultivate individuals who can adapt to the needs of social and economic development, possess moral and cultural qualities, a sense of social responsibility, an innovative spirit and entrepreneurial awareness, master the essential basic knowledge of mathematics and natural science as well as corresponding professional knowledge, have good learning ability, practical ability, professional ability and certain innovation and entrepreneurship ability, and be physically and mentally healthy. High-quality specialized talents who can be engaged in the research, design, development, manufacturing, application, maintenance and management of systems, equipment and devices in the field of electronic information and related areas. 

All Chinese and other foreign students (non-Chinese citizens) who have a high school diploma or equivalent educational attainment, are at least 18 years old but no more than 25 years old, have good conduct, no criminal record, and are in good physical and mental health are eligible to apply for Jinan University.

1. [Application Form] "Application Form for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese, Chinese and Other Foreign Students of Jinan University and Huaqiao University" Log in to the application system, complete the application and print it out (with your signature attached).

2. [Passport] The student's own passport (if currently in China, the most recent valid Chinese visa page and entry and exit record stamp must also be provided).

3. [Graduation Certificate] and [Transcript] (Note ①, ②)

Graduation certificates or academic qualifications of high school or above, transcripts of each academic year issued by the graduating high school, and transcripts of internationally recognized standardized tests (if available, provide such as SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB, etc.).

4. [Language Proficiency Proof] HSK or IELTS, TOEFL score certificates, etc. (The scores are valid within two years).

5. [Personal Statement] Self-introduction, past study experience and study plan in China.

6. [Recommendation Letter] One letter, which can be recommended by our overseas admissions office, local overseas Chinese communities, well-known figures in the overseas Chinese community, or the high school where the student graduated.

7. [Physical Examination Report] If you are applying for a medical-related program at our school, you also need to provide a physical examination report within the last six months. The template for the physical examination report is attached as the "Physical Examination Form".

8. The date of issuance of the "Certificate of No Criminal Record" should be within six months before the registration date.

9. [Other Materials] According to the "Notice of the Ministry of Education on Regulating the Relevant Work of Accepting International Students in Our Higher Education Institutions" (Jiaowai Han [2020] No. 12),

② Proof of the applicant's acquisition of foreign nationality; ③ The applicant's entry and exit records for the past four years (up to April 30, 2025).

(2) For applicants who acquired foreign nationality at birth abroad, if one or both of their parents are Chinese citizens, they need to provide ① proof that the applicant acquired foreign nationality at birth; ② Proof of permanent residence of the applicant's parents (Chinese citizens) in a foreign country before birth; ③ The applicant's entry and exit records for the past four years (up to April 30, 2025).
