Auditing is an interdisciplinary subject centered on "supervision, evaluation, and verification", integrating accounting, law, economics, and information technology. It aims to cultivate professional auditing talents with the capabilities of risk identification, evidence collection, and compliance review. Unlike accounting, which focuses on the record of economic activities, auditing centers on the review of the authenticity, legality and effectiveness of accounting information, business operations and internal controls. Its service targets include government agencies, enterprises and institutions, financial institutions and the general public. The major not only focuses on traditional auditing theories (such as risk-oriented auditing methods), but also emphasizes the application of digital auditing tools (such as big data analysis and blockchain auditing), which is a key link in maintaining financial order and commercial credit in the market economy.
