Training Objectives: To cultivate high-quality applied talents who are well-rounded in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor skills, possess the necessary basic theories of natural sciences and professional knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, have excellent intelligent design and advanced manufacturing capabilities, mechanical-electrical-hydraulic integration control abilities, and innovative consciousness. They can engage in mechanical product design, manufacturing, intelligent control, application research, technical services and other work in mechanical engineering and related fields.

Main Courses: Engineering Drawing, Mechanics (including theoretical mechanics, materials mechanics, fluid mechanics), Engineering Materials, Mechanical Principles, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Manufacturing Technology, Electrical and Electronic Technology, Interchangeability and Measurement Technology, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Technology, Single-Chip Microcomputer Technology, Mechanical Control Foundation, etc.

Specialization Directions: Common ones include digital design, intelligent manufacturing process and equipment design, intelligent manufacturing quality inspection and control, etc. The digital design direction focuses on data acquisition, model analysis, product styling design, etc.; the intelligent manufacturing process and equipment design direction focuses on the implementation of mechanical manufacturing processes; the intelligent manufacturing quality inspection and control direction focuses on cultivating technical and management-combined talents.

Employment Directions: They can work in mechanical engineering and related fields in mechanical product design, manufacturing, intelligent control, application research, technical services, etc., or in project management, technical consultation, equipment sales, etc. The employment units include manufacturing enterprises such as home appliances, automobiles, machine tools, as well as enterprises related to automated production lines, etc.

2. Requirements for the applicant's educational background and age: 

Those who are pursuing a bachelor's degree must have a high school diploma and be under the age of 25. 

(2) Those who are pursuing a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35. 

(3) Those pursuing a doctoral degree must hold a master's degree and be under the age of 40. 

(4) Those pursuing non-degree education courses should be under the age of 45. 

3. Not a recipient of any other scholarships. 

4. Language proficiency requirements: IELTS >= 6.0, TOEFL > 80, MELAB >= 10

On the application system of our university, applicants must fill in information in Chinese or English and submit application materials online.

1. Valid Ordinary Passport.

If the applicant is in China, a valid residence permit is also required.

2. The highest degree certificate. Graduating students can provide a pre-graduation letter as a substitute, and have to bring the original certificate when they come to China.

4. "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners"(Attachment 3).

Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the "Physical Examination Records for Foreigners" and fill them out in Chinese or English. The “Physical Examination Record for Foreigners” missing pages or without a photo or a cross-page seal on it, or without a signature of physician or seal from hospital is invalid. Whereas the inspection results are valid in 6 months, applicants are requested to determine the time of their medical examination accordingly.

5. Valid non-criminal record certificate within 6 months. If the applicant is already in China, she/he can only provide performance letter or Non-objection certificate from current university.

6. Proof of Language Proficiency.

7. Study Plan for Bachelor or Research Plan for Master and PhD.

8. Two recommendation letters signed by (associate) professors (Undergraduate students are exempt).

9. Conditional acceptance letter (It’s not a mandatory but a preferred file, with which students will be admitted in priority).

10. Others preferred: academic achievements (important), certificates of sports or cultural activity.

11. Students under 18 years old should upload Letter of Authorization.(Attachment 4)
