International Chinese Education is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on teaching and researching Chinese as a second language/foreign language, while promoting the international dissemination of Chinese culture. It not only addresses practical issues like "how to teach foreigners Chinese", but also explores the transmission rules of Chinese and Chinese culture in the international context. From classroom teaching in Confucius Institutes to the compilation of international Chinese textbooks, from training of foreign Chinese language teachers to the design of cross-cultural communication strategies, all these fall within the scope of research and practice of this discipline.

1. Non-Chinese citizens holding valid foreign passports and having an educational qualification equivalent to a high school diploma in China or above;

2. Age range: 16 - 30 years old (Applicants under the age of 18 must provide legal documents from their guardians in China);

3. For applications for non-Chinese language majors, one must pass the HSK-4 test and the professional entrance examination.
