Civil engineering

(1) Applicants for master's degree programs must have a bachelor's degree and a HSK level 5 score of 180 or above. Applicants for doctoral programs must have a master's degree and a HSK level 5 score of 180 or above, with excellent academic performance and good physical and mental health.

(2) To study in an English-taught program, the following conditions must be met: 1) English is the native language or the official language; 2) IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 80; 3) The language of instruction in university courses is English; 4) An English proficiency level recognized by Zhejiang University of Technology.

1. Application form with ID photo (fill in online).

2. Photocopy of passport and all the visa pages.

3. Highest education certificate. Graduating students can provide pre-graduation Certificate. The original graduation certificate or notarized copy should be submitted before registration.

4. Transcripts for all the courses in highest education school.

5. Language proficiency certificates. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must provide the photocopy of HSK certificate. Applicants for English-taught programs must provide grade report of TOEFL or IELTS test, or other proof which can reflect the applicants’ English proficiency (Not required for English native speakers).

6. Health certificate (within 6 month).

7. Non-criminal record certificate.

8. Two recommendation letters in English or Chinese (for graduate application). Letters must include phone number or email address.

9. Applicants who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens should submit

(1) cancellation certificate of Chinese citizenship 

(2) current citizenship certificate 

(3) Exit and Entry Record on passport, from June 30, 2021 to June 30, 2025.

10. Applicant who has acquired foreign citizenship automatically at the time of birth in a foreign country, whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one of the parents was a Chinese citizen should submit:

 (1) Birth certificate of foreign country.

 (2) Chinese parents’permanent resident certificate of foreign country should be obtained prior to the birth of the applicant.

 (3) Exit and Entry Record on passport, from June 30, 2021 to June 30, 2025.

11. Applicants under the age of 18 (by September 1st, 2025) should submit:

 (1) Letter of Guardian Guarantee and the guardian must be an adult living in Hangzhou.

 (2) A notarized copy of the Guardianship Authorization from the applicant’s parents.

12. If applicants studied in China before, study certificates and transcripts from former schools in China are required.
