Journalism and Communication
1. General Requirements: Generally, applicants for undergraduate programs should be between 18-25 years old, and those for master's programs should be between 18-35 years old. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens who are physically and mentally healthy. You should hold valid foreign passports, and have completed your previous stage of study (applicants who have not yet graduated at the time of application must provide a pre-graduation certificate and obtain relevant diplomas before registration).
2. Nationality Requirements
Requirements of the regulations set in the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC shall be met.

Note: Whether an applicant with foreign nationality has the nationality of the People's Republic of China at the same time shall be subject to the conclusion of the nationality determination by the administrative department of the Bureau of Exit & Entry Administration of Public Security P.R.C. If the applicant is found to have Chinese nationality after application, admission and enrollment, his/her eligibility for application, admission, enrollment or registration will be canceled.
3. Language Proficiency Requirements
Applicants for undergraduate programs must pass the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Level 4 or provide proof of equivalent Chinese language ability.
Applicants for master's programs must pass the HSK 4 or provide proof of equivalent Chinese language ability; applicants to the International Chinese Language Education program should pass the HSK5, or have attended courses taught in Chinese during undergraduate or high school.

4. Physical examination(filled in Chinese or English, and those not in Chinese or English shall be translated and notarized. Forms with incomplete records, and forms without doctor signatures, the hospital seal or seal on applicants’ photos are invalid. The physical examination report is valid within six months.)
5. Notarized graduation certificate or pre-graduation certificate, stamped with the school's official seal (in Chinese or English):
(1) Applicants for bachelor’s degree programs should submit a pre-graduation certificate or high school graduation certificate issued by their high school.
(2) Applicants for master's degree programs should submit a bachelor's degree certificate, graduation certificate, or pre-graduation certificate.
6. Scanned copies of notarized transcripts (in Chinese or English):
(1) Applicants for undergraduate programs need to submit transcripts from their high school years, as well as results of high school unified examinations or international standardized test results (if any).
(2) Applicants for master's degree programs need to submit transcripts from their undergraduate studies.
7. Statement of financial support: applicants must submit proof of sufficient funds to cover all reasonable expenses during their study in China, (at least the equivalent amount of tuition fee and accommodation fee for one academic year); either the applicant or a family member is permitted to act as the financial sponsor.
