The Internet of Things engineering focuses on "interconnection of things, data sharing, and intelligent decision-making", aiming to explore how to achieve the integration of the "physical world and digital world" through the collaboration of the perception layer (sensors, devices), the network layer (communication technologies), and the application layer (data analysis and control). Its core objective is to break the isolated state of traditional devices, enabling various objects (such as household appliances, automobiles, industrial machinery, urban facilities, etc.) to possess the ability to "communicate and connect online", ultimately realizing application values such as efficient management, energy conservation and consumption reduction, and convenient life.

1. Non-Chinese citizens, in good health.

2. Education and age requirements of the applicants:

(1) Those pursuing bachelor degree must have a high school diploma and be under 25 years old;

(2) Those pursuing master degree must have a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old;

(3) Those pursuing PhD degree must have a master's degree and be under 40 years old;

(4) Non-degree program students should be under 45 years old.

4. Language ability requirements:

On the application system of our university, applicants must fill in information in Chinese or English and submit application materials online.

1. Valid Ordinary Passport.

If the applicant is in China, a valid residence permit is also required.

2. The highest degree certificate. Graduating students can provide a pre-graduation letter as a substitute, and have to bring the original certificate when they come to China.

4. "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners"(Attachment 3).

Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the "Physical Examination Records for Foreigners" and fill them out in Chinese or English. The “Physical Examination Record for Foreigners” missing pages or without a photo or a cross-page seal on it, or without a signature of physician or seal from hospital is invalid. Whereas the inspection results are valid in 6 months, applicants are requested to determine the time of their medical examination accordingly.

5. Valid non-criminal record certificate within 6 months. If the applicant is already in China, she/he can only provide performance letter or Non-objection certificate from current university.

6. Proof of Language Proficiency.

7. Study Plan for Bachelor or Research Plan for Master and PhD.

8. Two recommendation letters signed by (associate) professors (Undergraduate students are exempt).

9. Conditional acceptance letter (It’s not a mandatory but a preferred file, with which students will be admitted in priority).

10. Others preferred: academic achievements (important), certificates of sports or cultural activity.

11. Students under 18 years old should upload Letter of Authorization.(Attachment 4)

Note: Chinese or English translation copy is mandatory if original file is not in Chinese/English/Spanish.
