The subject of Architecture will cultivate high-level professional talents with wide knowledge, solid foundation, high comprehensive and professional quality as well as creativity, who are also well developed in moral, intellectual, fitness and aesthetic perception, to meet the requirements of China’s socialist modernization. The cultivation objectives will emphasize on technical expertise in architecture design, professional quality in town & country planning and landscape architecture design, and extensive occupationaladaptability.

The graduates will be capable of engaging in the project planning, project design and construction drawing design work concerning architecture design, town & country planning, landscape architecture design, or engaging in the theoretical work, teaching jobs and management work concerning architecture professionalfield.

1. Non-Chinese citizens, in good health;
2. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations, respect Chinese customs and habits. Observe Chang’anUniversity discipline and school regulations;
3. Education and age requirements of the applicants:
(1) Those pursuing undergraduate majors must have a high school diploma and be under 25 years old;
(2) Those pursuing a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old;
(3) Those pursuing a doctorate must have a master's degree and be under the age of 40.
4. Non-other scholarship recipients.

On the application system of our university, applicants must fill in information in Chinese or English and submit application materials online.

1. Valid Ordinary Passport.

If the applicant is in China, a valid residence permit is also required.

2. The highest degree certificate. Graduating students can provide a pre-graduation letter as a substitute, and have to bring the original certificate when they come to China.

3. Transcripts.

4. "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners"(Attachment 3).

Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the "Physical Examination Records for Foreigners" and fill them out in Chinese or English. The “Physical Examination Record for Foreigners” missing pages or without a photo or a cross-page seal on it, or without a signature of physician or seal from hospital is invalid. Whereas the inspection results are valid in 6 months, applicants are requested to determine the time of their medical examination accordingly.

5. Valid non-criminal record certificate within 6 months. If the applicant is already in China, she/he can only provide performance letter or Non-objection certificate from current university.

6. Proof of Language Proficiency.

7. Study Plan for Bachelor or Research Plan for Master and PhD.

8. Two recommendation letters signed by (associate) professors (Undergraduate students are exempt).

9. Conditional acceptance letter (It’s not a mandatory but a preferred file, with which students will be admitted in priority).

10. Others preferred: academic achievements (important), certificates of sports or cultural activity.

11. Students under 18 years old should upload Letter of Authorization.(Attachment 4)
