Architecture

1. Non-Chinese citizens, in good health and generally under the age of 40. 

2. Possess a degree equivalent to a bachelor's degree from a Chinese university (for current graduates who have not yet received their degree certificates, they need to provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their school or college to prove that they are capable of graduating successfully and obtaining the degree certificate by July 2025); 

3. IELTS score of 6.0 or above, TOEFL score of 85 or above (or TOEFL Essentials score of 9 or above, the TOEFL score receiving code for Nanjing University is C288), Duolingo English Test score of 100 or above (https://englishtest.duolingo.cn/applicants). 

Graduation requirements: Pass HSK Level 3 (with a score of 180 or above).

(1) "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" (Template: Nanjing University Foreigner Physical Examination Record, Valid for 6 Months); 

(2) Bachelor's degree certificate or academic degree certificate (for recent graduates, a pre-graduation certificate can be provided); 

(3) Complete transcript of all undergraduate courses; 

(4) Two recommendation letters from teachers with the rank of associate professor or above; 

(5) HSK certificate (applicants for Chinese language courses must provide it; those who have received 12 years of Chinese education in Malaysia, Singapore, etc. can use their high school graduation certificate instead of the HSK certificate) or TOEFL (or TOEFL Essentials), IELTS, or Duolingo English Test score report (applicants for English language courses must provide it).

(8) Chinese applicants are required to submit the necessary identification documents as per the requirements. For detailed information, please refer to the list of identification materials for Chinese students. 

(9) Applicants for the School of Architecture and Urban Planning are required to submit their portfolio of works.
