High Teaching quality 

Ningbo University of Technology (NBUT) was founded in 1983 by Ningbo Municipal Government，

In 2010, NBUT was listed as one of the first group of universities which implement “Outstanding Engineers Cultivation Program” by the Ministry of Education. 

Now the pilot programs include Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Computer Science and Technology, Electronic and Information Engineering, Material Modeling and Control Engineering. Three programs including Architecture, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Mechanical Design and Manufacture and Automation have been listed as the first CDIO trial programs.

 In 2014 NBUT became the Council Chairman Unit of the first "Yangtze River Delta Applied Undergraduate Universities Union", and became one of the first batch of 10 pilot demonstration Applied Universities of Zhejiang Province in 2015. 

In 2016 NBUT became the President Unit of the first "Zhejiang Provincial Applied Undergraduate Universities Union".

 In 2021, NBUT was listed as a reserve university for “Powerful Country in Education Program” in 14th five year Plan Period. School of Automobile in Hangzhou Bay was listed as a National School for Modern Industry in the first batch of 50 universities across China.

In 2022, NBUT started the joint Bachelor’s Program of Information and Computing Science with Delaware State University in the USA. NBUT also operates a Confucius Institute in Grenada. Through continuous collaboration with foreign partners, NBUT aims to be a distinctive and distinguished university of engineering and technology serving the local economy.

Ningbo University of Technology located in Ningbo city, Only two hours to Shanghai by Train. But the living cost is much lower than shanghai.
