Are You Ready for Returning to China?

Editor`s note: Recently many students are preparing return to school. Here we share BFSU`s “Preparation before returning to school" for your reference.

I: Visa application Procedure

1. Fill in the online questionnaire. The information will be used in the visa Excel Form

2. Students who plan to return to China, please fill in and check their personal information, especially visa information.

3. After getting approval by the university, the name list will be fed back to the supervisor. Please pay attention to the following list:

（A）

Students under the age of 18 need to wait until they turn 18 and can return to China. At that time, the school will mail the visa documents to the student coming to China.

（B）

Non-degree students, such as foundation students, need to wait until February and then return to China after completing undergraduate degree registration.

4.After getting approval from the university, the corresponding visa documents will be prepared. The electronic version of the visa materials will be sent to the student's mail box and will also be sent to the supervisor; the paper version of the materials will be sent to the student by SF International Express.

Tips:

01 If your passport has been renewed, please fill in the latest passport number in the form and take a photo of the front page of your new passport. If you not notify the university in time, you will receive the wrong information in the visa material and it cannot be changed.

02 Students need to confirm with the Embassy which materials are needed.

JW202 visa form is valid for 3 months from the date of sending. After receiving the original documents, students need to apply for the visa before the expiry date.

II : The visa process has been completed; ready to return to China

After applying for the visa, you need to notify the supervisor.
After the visa process has been completed, the student has to buy the airline ticket and inform your teacher of the flight number and departure time.
At this time, you need to complete the purchase of student insurance in China, which needs to be purchased one week before departure time, so that if you have an accident after coming to China, or you have been isolated or hospitalized, you can receive reimbursement. Must buy!
Please remember to bring all the relevant documents back to school, for example,JW202, original admission notice, ID photo (both soft copy and hard copy), etc. and other original documents.

??The original JW202 can not be lost! If the visa process isn't used, you need to bring it back to China. It will be used when extending the visa, and it cannot be replaced.

There are two types of ways to return to Beijing;

（1）Direct Flight to Beijing

Quarantine Hotel (10 days) > Beiwai Quarantine Hotel (4+7 days)

Need to complete 10 quarantine days at our own expense in a quarantine hotel in Beijing; According to the information reported by Lemon, on the 11th day, the teacher will pick up the students from the hotel and take them to the Beiwai Quarantine Hotel in Beijing Daxing; students who fly direct to Beijing need to stay at Daxing for 4 days,and then complete 7 days of COVID testing. After that, they can be transferred to the school by school bus.

（2）Fly to other cities

Quarantine Hotel (10 days) > Beiwai Quarantine Hotel (7+7 days)

Need to complete 10 quarantine days at our own expense in the local quarantine hotel;

On the 11th day,students have to leave the hotel and take an airplane or train to Beijing. According to the information reported by Lemon, on the 11th day, the teacher will pick up the students at the airport or train station and take them to the Beiwai Quarantine Hotel in Beijing Daxing; the students need to stay at Daxing for 7 days, and then complete 7 days of COVID testing. After that,they can be transferred to the school by school bus.

III. Telephone Q&A

1. Is it needed to buy a telephone and after landing in China?

Students can decide for themselves and can generally purchase online and then deliver via courier 48 hours to the courier point and students can install and use.

2. Why is it needed to have a China telephone card?

Health Kit (健康宝) is required for everyone in Beijing and requires authentication through a Chinese telephone card. Three days before returning to university, After that, all students are also required to apply using EPASS for their daily university visits.
