Ningxia Medical University (NXMU) was founded in 1958, which is the only university of higher learning for medicine in Ningxia that mainly focuses on Western medicine while also having the coexistence of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. It was authorized to enroll international students by Ministry of Education (MOE LIST) for MBBS, and also authorized by China Scholarship Council to cultivate the Chinese government scholarship students. Until now, over 400 international students from all over the world study here.
The Foundation Program for medical students focuses on teaching Chinese courses and bridging courses between senior high school and college, and comprehensively improves Chinese language and communication ability, nature science and cross-cultural communication ability for international students who are willing to apply for undergraduate medical programs in China. This program can help students adapt to Chinese higher education model and learning requirements more easily, and lay a solid foundation for smooth transition from basic courses of senior high school to undergraduate medical program.

Tuition fee: 8000 RMB / Semester
Registration fee: 400 RMB
Hostel fee: 2500 RMB/ Semester(Double room), 1500 RMB/Semester（Quadruple room）（depends on actual situation of dormitories）
Insurance fee: 200 RMB（Pay after arrival）
1.Non-Chinese citizen with valid foreign passport;
2.In good physical and mental health;
3.Qualified with a high school degree or above or K12 grade (10+2) or equivalent academic ability.
4.Academic requirements: English score and the average score of Physics,Chemistry and Biology/Maths are no less than 65/100.Application Documents1.The photocopy of passport;
