About WZU
Nestled within picturesque mountains, vast waterways, and the heart of a vibrant coastal city, Wenzhou University (WZU) offers unparalleled educational opportunities for students who are looking to study within a rich cultural environment and benefit from a strong academic tradition. WZU offers 55 undergraduate, 40 master’s and 3 doctoral programs in 22 colleges and schools, covering 11 disciplines such as arts, science, engineering, law, education, economics, history, management and fine arts. Chemistry, materials science, engineering, computer science and ecology are among the top 1% of ESI ranking in the world.
The school has distinct features in international education and actively engages in education for international students. The university adopts an education philosophy of “Amazing WZUers: Bring the World to Wenzhou, Bridge Wenzhou with the World”, and takes the initiative to align with the national "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy and serves the construction of "Millennium Commercial Port · Happy Wenzhou" in Wenzhou. In 1997, it was approved for the qualification to recruit international students, and currently has about 600 international students from more than 70 countries. WZU has established a Wenzhou University branch in Italy and an international Chinese teaching base in the Moriwali, Indonesia. It has been approved for two "Silk Road Institutes" in Zhejiang Province, co-founded a Confucius Institute with Wenzhou Medical University and Burapha University in Thailand, and collaborates with the University of Siena in Italy to hold an independent Confucius classroom.

Eligibility
-Basic requirements
Non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport; Healthy.
Age of 18 or above. For applicants under 18, please submit the Certificate of Guardianship.
-Educational requirements
Applicants for bachelor's degree studies must have a high school certificate.
Applicants for master's degree studies must have a bachelor's degree certificate.
Applicants for Doctoral degree studies must have a master's degree certificate
-Language requirements
English-taught programs: Non-native English speakers should provide a TOEFL(>70)/IELTS(>6)/Duolingo(>105) report or other proof of English proficiency.
Chinese-taught programs: HSK 4 or higher is required.

2：Graduation certificate and official transcript of highest education.
3：Certificates and transcripts should be in Chinese orEnglish. If not, they should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
4：For applicants of postgraduate degree programs, please provide a study plan and two recommendation letters.
5：Health report within six months.（Please download the medical examination form at the end）
6：Non-criminal Report issued within sixmonths
7：Applicants currently in China should be able to provide a photocopy of their Resident Permit and a performance statement issued by their previous school if applicable.
