• Be a non-Chinese citizen and in good health.
• For master’s applicants: Hold a bachelor’s degree, excellent academic records, and be under 35 years old.
• For doctoral applicants: Hold a master’s degree, excellent academic records, and be under 40 years old.
• Language proficiency: For Chinese-taught programs, HSK Level 5 (180+). For English-taught programs, TOEFL (80+) or IELTS (6.0+). Exemptions apply for those with prior Chinese/English-taught degree experience.
