Eligibility Criteria
• Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China with a valid ID.
• Apply from abroad, or be an outstanding graduate of a Chinese university with official recommendation.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree (for master’s applicants) or a master’s degree (for doctoral applicants) in relevant fields.
• Have excellent academic performance and meet the requirements of the applied program.
• Be in good health; under 35 years old for master’s programs and under 40 for doctoral programs.
• Language Proficiency: HSK Level 5 or above for Chinese-taught programs (exempt if graduated from a Chinese university with Chinese as the teaching language); IELTS ≥ 6.0 or TOEFL ≥ 80 (including Mybest Scores) for English-taught programs (or proof of English-medium instruction in previous studies).
• Not receive other scholarships for the 2026/27 academic year.
