Professional Overview

This major was established to meet the demands of the development of civil aircraft and other aviation vehicles in our country. It mainly studies the structural design, structural strength analysis, verification of design compliance and compliance verification technology of military aircraft and civil aircraft. It is based on mechanics as the theoretical foundation and involves multiple disciplines related to mechanics such as material mechanics, thin-walled structure mechanics, and aerodynamics. At the same time, it combines the actual needs of aircraft structure design, and is a distinctive applied discipline.

Training Objectives

It usually aims to cultivate comprehensive and innovative senior specialized talents with a solid foundation in aerospace disciplines, proficient in systematic airworthiness certification and management knowledge, advanced compliance verification technologies, and good professional ethics and social responsibility. They can work in the military and civil aviation fields, engaging in aircraft structure design, airworthiness certification, compliance verification and verification, and full life cycle safety management.

1. Physical and mental health (free from infectious diseases and without any physical or mental disorders that affect normal learning). 

2. By September 1, 2025, the applicants for the master's program should be no older than 30 years of age. 

3. Educational Requirements: As of September 1, 2025, applicants for the master's program must have a bachelor's degree. 

4. Learning ability: Applicants should possess good learning ability and academic performance. The required score for the previous stage of application for applicants is 75%, and for those applying for the Chinese Government Scholarship, it is 80%. Applicants can provide other proof of their learning ability or academic performance such as GRE, GMAT, etc. 

5. Language Requirements 

The applicant should possess the required language proficiency in both Chinese and English as per the admission criteria.

1. A clear and legible scanned copy of the passport information page.

2. A scanned copy of the bachelor's degree certificate.

3. Scanned copies of the semester/academic year transcripts for each period of the undergraduate study. 

4. Recommendation letters provided by 4 experts or above at the associate professor level.

5. The applicant's study plan for pursuing a master's degree. 

6. Chinese (HSK) / English (IELTS or TOEFL or Duolingo or PTE) language proficiency certificate; 7. No criminal record certificate (valid within 6 months);
