Discipline positioning: It belongs to the category of engineering, with the first-level discipline code 0810. It consists of two core secondary disciplines: Communication and Information System, and Signal and Information Processing. The related undergraduate majors include Communication Engineering, Information Engineering, and Electronic Information Engineering, etc. For postgraduate studies, students are recruited under the first-level discipline "Information and Communication Engineering", with more specialized and in-depth research directions. 

Core objective: By studying the transmission laws of information carriers (such as electrical signals, optical signals, and electromagnetic waves) in various channels (wired, wireless, optical fibers), as well as the technologies for information acquisition, encoding, decoding, processing, and application, we aim to solve the problems of efficient, reliable, and secure information transmission and processing, thereby supporting the construction of modern communication networks and information systems.

2. By September 1, 2025, the applicants for the master's program should be no older than 30 years of age. 

3. Educational Requirements: As of September 1, 2025, applicants for the master's program must have a bachelor's degree. 

4. Learning ability: Applicants should possess good learning ability and academic performance. The required score for the previous stage of application for applicants is 75%, and for those applying for the Chinese Government Scholarship, it is 80%. Applicants can provide other proof of their learning ability or academic performance such as GRE, GMAT, etc. 

5. Language Requirements
