Electrical engineering mainly studies the theories, technologies and engineering applications related to the generation, transmission, conversion, distribution and utilization of electrical energy. Traditionally, it was defined as the sum of all disciplines used to create and produce electrical and electronic systems. With the development of technology, its scope has expanded significantly. Now it covers almost all engineering behaviors related to electronics and photons. The development of this discipline is closely related to the development of electromagnetic theory. The discoveries of Ampere in the magnetic effect of current, Faraday in the law of electromagnetic induction, and Maxwell in the establishment of electromagnetic theory, all laid the foundation for the development of electrical engineering.
