The Food Nutrition and Health major is rooted inemphasizingtheandmedicine,integrationcomplementarity of multiple disciplines to merge"medicine and health." This program is designed tocultivate highly specialized professionals with expertisein scientific research on food nutrition, the developmentof functional foods, and the promotion of health anddisease prevention.
The major boasts a highly qualified faculty, with90% holding doctoral degrees, including eight nationaland provincial-level experts. It is supported by aprovincial-level technological innovation center, a keylaboratory, and an experimental teaching demonstrationcenter. Additionally,the program has established 10off-campus practice bases and maintains strongcollaborative relationships with provincial nutritionsocieties and large-scale hospitals, providing studentswith high-quality teaching,hands-on training, andresearch opportunities.
1.The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizen, andmeet the requirements of JWH [2020] No. 12Document of the Education Ministry of China. Theapplicants shall be physically and mentally healthy.with no criminal records, and willing to abide by thelaws and regulations of China and the regulations ofJinzhou Medical University.
2.Applicants should be between 18 and 30 yearsold as of September 1st. 2025.
3.Applicants must have a good command of theEnglish language. Non-native English speakers arerequired to provide proof of English proficiency,such as TOEFL or lELTS. If such proof cannot beprovided, the applicant must undergo an entranceJZMU foradmiss1oninterviewconductedby assessment.
4.Study Requirements for Ethnic Chinese
If the applicant's parents are or one of theparents is Chinese, or the applicant has emigratedfrom Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao andTaiwan and acquired foreign nationality, accordingto the No.12 Announcement of the Ministry ofEducation of the People's Republic of China (2020)they shall be naturalized for 4 years or more (beforeApril 30,2025)and have more than 2 years ofresidence in foreign countries during this period(The actual residence in a foreign country for morethan 9 months in a year can be calculated as oneyear, subject to the entry and exit stamps)
Applicants born in foreign countries arerequired to meet the above criteria, and providepersonal birth certificates and parents' nationalitycertificates.
1.Copy of passport home page and copy of the visa issued by Chinese embassies (if available)
2.Diploma of high school education (in Chinese or English)
3.High school transcripts (in Chinese or English)
4.Report of English language test, e.g. TOEFL//ELTS/others.
5.Candidates who have any learning experiences in China should provide evidence of their academic performance fromtheir previous institutions.
6.Physical examination report within 6 months, the original report should be submitted upon registration.
