Jinzhou Medical University

Founded in 1946 during the Liberation War, Jinzhou Medical University (JZMU) went by Liaoji Military Region Health School in Taonan, Jilin Province. It moved to Jinzhou, Liaoning Province in 1949, and developed into Jinzhou Medical College in 1958. It was renamed as Liaoning Medical College in 2006 and Jinzhou Medical University in 2016. JZMU covers an area of 994,987.
