The electronic information engineering specialty is developed from radar specialty established in 1958 for many years. It belongs to the key construction specialty of the former Commission of science, technology, and industry for national defense, Shaanxi's famous brand specialty, and international talent training pilot specialty. It mainly studies the acquisition and processing of information, the design, development, application, and integration of electronic equipment and information systems. It integrates modern electronic technology, information technology Communication technology, and computer technology. Based on the all-English curriculum system, electronic information engineering (international class) trains senior electronic engineering technical talents and international talents in electronic information engineering with a solid theoretical foundation, strong engineering practice ability, wide adaptability, and high professional quality in the field of electronic information. Graduates will be able to engage in research and development in the field of electronic and information engineering at home and abroad, It covers the fields of electronic and information equipment and systems, signal and information acquisition, transmission and processing, automatic control, communication, microelectronic systems, computer applications, RF and microwave technology, etc.

(1)Good physical and mental health (no infectious or contagious diseases and no physical or mental disorders that could interfere with regular study).

(2)Applicants should be under 25 by September 1st, 2025.

(3)Applicants should hold a high school diploma by September 1st, 2025.

(4)Applicants should be competent in performing scientific research and maintain a good academic grade level. The requirement for previous academic grade level is an average score of 75% and above. NPU accepts international standardized tests such as SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB/GED or regional high school graduation examination. Applicants may provide other certificates as proof for academic performance.

(5)Language

Applicants should have Chinese or English language proficiency that meets the requirement.

 * Applicants who do not meet language requirements above, please check international foundation program.

(1) A copy of the personal information page of your valid passport. Applicants currently residing in mainland China must also provide a scanned copy of the currently valid visa page or residence permit page. The passport should be valid until October 30, 2025 at least.

(2) A copy of high school diploma (or graduation certificate) and all transcripts. It should be the original documents or be notarized.

(3) Personal statement (base on given template) and CV.

(4) Chinese or English language certificate.

Under these circumstance, Language Certificate is not needed:

 - Applicants who are Chinese native speakers and applying for Chinese medium courses.

 - Applicants who are English native speakers and applying for English medium courses.

(5) Non-criminal record (valid for six months).

(6) Officially certified awards, scientific research achievements (if any).

(7) Copy of "Physical Examination Form for Foreigners" (valid for six months);

(8) As of November 1st, 2025, minor applicants under the age of 18 must provide Guardian Guarantee Letter (base on given template).

(9) Personal or parents' Bank statements of the last six months(5000USD).

(10) Other supplementary materials required.
