1. Citizenship 

Students applying for the undergraduate program must be non-Chinese citizens. 

2. Age and Education Background 

The applicant should have a high school degree or above. 

Chinese language teaching program: Age must not exceed 25 years old. 

English-taught program: Applicants must be under the age of 30. 

3. Language Skills 

Chinese language teaching program: Applicants should have reached the HSK 4 level or above in Chinese, and should meet the language requirements of the college they are applying to. 

English-taught program: Applicants should have the ability to study proficiently in English.

(1) Shanghai Business College International Student (Degree-seeking) Admission Application Form 

Please provide complete and clear information in either Chinese or English on the application form. 

If the applicant wishes to stay on campus, please clearly indicate the type of room on the application form. Due to the limited number of beds in the international student dormitories, the school will make appropriate arrangements based on the applicant's application and the availability of dormitory spaces. 

(2) Copy of passport 

A copy of the valid passport page, including the applicant's own photo, name, date of birth, passport validity period, and passport number. The passport validity period must be more than 12 months. 

If the applicant is already in China, please provide a copy of the valid visa.

(5) Applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of their international English proficiency, with an average score of at least 5.5 in IELTS or 70 in TOEFL; if there are special circumstances such as inability to provide such proof, they must submit proof of full-time English learning in primary and secondary schools or an official certificate from an international school indicating full English-language instruction.

(8) Certificate of No Criminal Record 

The applicant is required to submit a valid criminal record certificate issued by the local public security authority, and the certificate should be for the period within the last 6 months prior to the application. 

(9) Foreigner Physical Examination Form (No infectious diseases) 

Applicants must undergo the physical examination strictly in accordance with the items specified in the "Foreigner Physical Examination Form". A "Foreigner Physical Examination Form" with missing items, without a photo of the applicant attached, without the original seal of the signature on the photo, or without the signatures and seals of the doctor and the hospital is invalid. The validity period of the examination results is 6 months. 

(10) Applicants whose place of birth is in China are required to provide the following copies: citizenship certificate, certificate of cancellation of the original Chinese household registration, and proof of actual residence abroad for more than two years within the last four years. 

(11) Submit a 3-minute introduction video in either Chinese or English based on the teaching language (1 minute for self-introduction, 1 minute for reasons for studying abroad, 1 minute for study plan. If you have any study experience in China, please include it in the video as well.) 

(12) Photo (named after passport number, 2-inch color bareheaded ID photo, white background with no border, head occupies 2/3 of the photo size, photo size should be no less than 320*240 pixels, aspect ratio of 4:3, file size of 100-500KB, JPG format)
