Founded in 1949, the university covers an area of about 1432.08 mu and a floorage of over 550,000 square meters. There are teaching facilities and scientific research equipment with a total value of RMB 180 million, as well as a library collection of over 2 million books. Currently, there are 23 schools (departments) and 115 scientific research institutes.
