Xi’an Technological University

The school is specialized in military industry and excels in it. It was founded in 1955 and is a key military industry project included in the "First Five-Year Plan" of the state; in 1965, it was renamed Xi'an Industrial University and became the only undergraduate institution in the military industry sector in Northwest China. The school has been under the management of military industry ministries and commissions for a long time. In 1999, it was transferred from the original Armament Industry Corporation of China to the management of Shaanxi Province; in 2006, it was renamed Xi'an University of Technology.
