Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology

The school has a long history of operation and is a renowned institution with profound heritage, distinctive features and remarkable achievements. It can be traced back to Tianjin Beiyang Western Learning Academy established in 1895. During the national college and department reorganization in 1956, it was formed by the integration of the civil engineering and architecture departments (or faculties) from the original Northeast Institute of Technology, Northwest Institute of Technology, Qingdao Institute of Technology and Suzhou South Industrial College. It has accumulated the essence of the earliest batch of civil engineering, architecture and environmental disciplines in China's modern higher education history.
