The school has always emphasized its main business of teacher education, striving to establish 23 first-class teacher education programs, and actively cultivating future "four-good" teachers. It has also directed the training of over 1,000 outstanding rural primary school teachers with specialized and versatile skills. For 18 consecutive years, it has been undertaking the "Double Five Hundred" talent project in Hainan Province, which was affirmed and approved by then State Councilor Liu Yan Dong.
