The school has 24 provincial-level or above research platforms, including the Fujian Academy of Social Sciences · Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Philosophy on Song-Ming Neo-Confucianism, the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Green Technology for Ecological Industries, the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Big Data and Intelligence in Tea Industry, the Provincial Collaborative Innovation Center for Bamboo Ecological Industry, the Fujian 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center for Chinese Oolong Tea Industry, and the Fujian Bamboo Materials Engineering Technology Research Center. It also has 3 provincial-level scientific innovation teams. The school currently has over 1,100 staff members.
