Xiamen University of Technology

The predecessor of the school, Lujiang Vocational University, was established on October 15, 1981, on the same day as the Xiamen Special Economic Zone. In 2004, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to upgrade to a bachelor's degree-granting institution and was renamed Xiamen University of Technology. Since the launch of undergraduate education, the school has remained committed to the mission of "cultivating talents for the Party and the country", fully implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talent, and has been based in Xiamen, focusing on the main battlefield of economic construction.
