On November 13th, 2010, Mr.Lai Maode , the executive vice-president of Zhejiang University , welcomed Ms. Constance Cook , the executive vice-president of Michigan , to conduct academic access . As for Ms. Cook , she is also the director of the Research Center in the University of Michigan .

The two presidents had a friendly and passionate talk. It mainly focused on the topics such as teaching research , teaching promotion cooperation and so on . Professor Yu Xunda , the Deputy Director of the Faculty of Social Sciences , Professor Chen Jin , the Deputy Dean of Undergraduate School and Dr . Zhu Erping , the assistant director of the Teaching and Researching Center of the University of Michigan , also participated in the meeting.
