The research led by Professor Liu Yu from Nankai University, achieved the highest honor of Science in China in 2010.

On January 14, the National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Beijing. The project "Molecular Recognition and Assembly CD" won the National Natural Science Award (first prize vacancies), it is also the only the Natural Science Award in Tianjin.
