The most convenient way to get to DMU from the airport is by taxi. The minimum charge for a taxi is 8 RMB and the regular meter-rate is 2 RMB/km. It will cost you around 30 RMB to get to the university from the airport. It takes approximately 30 minutes to arrive at DMU from the airport, depending on the traffic
You also have the option of first traveling to Xing Gong Jie Station（兴工街）or Dalian Railway Station (大连火车站) via the airport shuttle bus and then take Bus No. 10 from Xing Gong Jie to Lingnan Middle Road (凌南中路) or take Bus No. 531 from the Railway Station to Dalian Maritime University Station (海事大学站). The airport shuttle fare is 5 RMB/person, Bus No. 10 is 1 RMB and Bus No. 531 costs 2 RMB.

You can also choose Bus No. 701 or No. 717 to transfer No. 10 at Gai Zhou Jie (盖州街) and then get off at Lingnan Middle Road (凌南中路).

Students are recommended to take a taxi to the university when first coming to Dalian, which is efficient and precise to find the location. IEC will arrange airport pick-up for international students.
