Students are required to arrive in Dalian no later than the day of registration (the registration date is written on your admission notice). If you are to arrive later than or after the day of registration, you must write a letter to the International Education College of DMU via fax or email, informing the staffs of your late arrival and its reasons. Students who have not register after two weeks without a valid reason will be dismissed from university.

Admission Office

(Room 403)    Submit the original copies of the Admission Notice, Visa Application for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China (JW201/JW202), Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and the blood test report, passport and 8 copies of photos in passport size.    Day of Registration
    Fill out the Application Form for International Students to study at DMU(for scholarship students) and the Accommodation Registration Form for Visitors from Overseas.   
    Pay for the registration fee and tuition fee (for self-funded students).   
    Collect the New Students Orientation Guide and the Payment list for International Students of DMU.   
    Apply for visa/ residence permit.    1-2 weeks after registration
General Affairs Office
(Room 410)    Apply for the dormitory room of International Students’ Apartment Building (or apply for living off campus); pay for the insurance fee; apply for the bank card (only for scholarship students).    Day of Registration
    Pay for accommodation fee (for self-funded students and partial scholarship students).   
    Collect the bank card (only for scholarship students)    1-2 weeks after registration
Academic Management Office (Room 412)    Apply for student ID card and e-card.    From the day of registration to the third week
    Collect student ID card and e-card.    1-2 weeks after application
Note: Please keep in mind that no one can register on your behalf. Students must have cleared their tuition fees payment by the end of the day of registration. Otherwise, the registration process cannot be completed.
