Honors
HFU is honored as "Innovation Pioneer of Finance and Insurance" and "Innovation Pioneer of Management" in Hebei. Also, during the second-round selection for key subjects in Hebei, Finance and Accounting are awarded "The Provincial Key Subjects".

HFU has conducted series of major constructions and reforms, which gain numerous provincial and national awards. Of all the teaching teams in HFU, the team of Finance, the team of Accounting and the team of Information Management are entitled "The Excellent Teaching Team" at the provincial level.

Academic Achievements
There are 4 experimental centers co-founded by Hebei and the Ministry of Education, which are Financial Risks & Monitoring Experimental Center, Marketing Environment & Enterprise Management Experimental Center, Marketing Environment & Enterprise Management Experimental Teaching Center, Trade Payment Experimental Center and Information Technology and Safety Laboratory and two provincial teaching model centers—Finance Teaching Experimental Center and Management & Information Experimental Center as well as 35 advanced specialized laboratories, 8 general laboratories and 10 multimedia language labs in the university.

The Scientific & Technological Finance Laboratory, the only key laboratory of Arts in Hebei, is located in HFU. Additionally, the Financial Research Base, the Financial Law Research Association of Hebei and Hebei Financial Information Service Platform for SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) are established here.

In recent years, HFU has made great achievements in scientific research and has increasingly strengthened the ability to serve for the local economic development. More than 100 scientific research items above municipal level have been undertaken by the staff in the university, and numerous items have won scientific research achievement awards at provincial and municipal level.

Geographic Position
Hebei Finance University is located in Baoding, a city with a long history and culture. The transportation is very convenient, with one and a half hour driving on the expressway from Beijing. The university will come to pick you up at Beijing international airport when you first come to the university for free, and also will see you off there for free transportation when you leave the university for the last time.
